The Apache UV has a range of available inks with different properties designed to be used for particular substrates.
You have the choice of Rigid inks for hard substrates for more durable prints, Soft inks for flexible substrates or a Hybrid for the two. There are variations of our Solid Clear Varnish inks to either aid in adhesion or to provide protection on top of your prints. A sticky Varnish can be used to incorporate cold foiling and embellishments.
Print files can be handled by a choice of Topaz X RIP or Print Factory.
Either RIP can handle both Vector and Raster files with JPEG, PNG, EPS, PDF and Ai files supported. Colour and layout management is available in both RIP software packages. Print Factory offers a more professional RIP software package with dedicated Layout and Calibrator programs that can enable the user to edit and create files or templates for print with professional colour control
